Amazing scenes as Bale scores last-minute equalizer in final, leads Los Angeles to first league title

Like in his best days at Real Madrid, Gareth Bale came in clutch in his latest match for Los Angeles FC.

With LAFC 3-2 behind and with just one minute before the end of the match, Bale scored a bullet header to send the teams to the penalties. The goal, by the way, came in the 128th minute.

Here is what it looked like.

Los Angeles then went on to beat Philadephia Union on penalties and won their first ever MLS Cup title. Bale didn't get to take a penalty, unfortunately, but his contribution to the win is difficult to overstate.

And here is Bale with the trophy.

Gareth has finished his first season at Los Angeles with 3 goals in 14 matches.
