Here's what Rudy replied: "Retire at Madrid? Dude, I've only been here a few months and you already want to retire me! (laughs). I feel good, if I can still play for Real Madrid at 37 years old like 

The defender didn't stop there and went on to lavish praise on Modric.

"I call Modric the Master. What he does at 37 years old is something from another world. Even at this age, on the big stage that is Real Madrid, nobody is at his level".

There's absolutely nothing to object to. Lukita is one of the best midfielders in the history of football and we are all happy to witness his greatness up to this day.

When asked if there were other options for the move apart from Madrid, he replied: "Obviously there were more teams, but I said I was only considering two - 

 and Real Madrid. I worked very hard in London for the last five years and I had an acquired status. So it was either that or Madrid for me".

I love this guy. He has such a humble personality and I’m pretty sure it’s hard to dislike him. Coming up from very difficult challenges in real life from the beginning makes him even more likable. Great compliment to Lukita too! We’ll never see such a player in generations. Playing at the highest level, Luka never seems to give up. Mourinho did him justice and that’s one of the greatest contributions from him. Luka went from being named the worst signing in his first season to being adored at Madrid and being an incredibly important cog in our lineup. Anytime he’s not there, it is always noticeable. Rudiger took the words out from everyone who appreciates Modric. There will be nobody like him.

True. But I have to object on Iniesta though. In his prime Iniesta was just one of those players that ranked among the all time greats. This is not downgrading Lukita between. What we have seen from him, is something we might never see from another player in generations. 

Better has to do with continuity, all am saying, they cannot remain in competitive league with his age, that's why I rate him higher
