Fabrizio Romano provides details of Real Madrid's deal to sign new left-back

"Fran Garcia will return to Real Madrid in the summer, as expected," Fabrizio Romano tweets.

"Documents ready between Real Madrid and Rayo Vallecano. Real Madrid will trigger the buy back clause for €10m but only to pay €5m – as 50% sell-on clause was included.

"Fran Garcia will sign a five-year deal," he adds.

Fran Garcia is expected to serve as a back-up for Ferland Mendy next season. However, it is not excluded that the former Real Madrid talent would even grow into a regular starter.

The 23-year-old has provided 2 assists in 23 appearances for Rayo Vallecano this season.
