Ancelotti rules out his son moving to Basel
Carlo Ancelotti has dispelled the rumours that his son and assistant Davide will take charge of FC Basel as a head coach this summer. However, he will get his UEFA Pro License in the near future.
"He is finishing the UEFA Pro coach course in Wales, he will finish in May, then he will be able to coach any team. It won't be Basel, because we feel good here and we want to stay here. The day he will want to start on his own, I think he will," Ancelotti has said.
Referee for Madrid-Chelsea clash appointed
The first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals between Real Madrid and Chelsea this Wednesday will be officiated by Francois Letexier.
The French referee never worked on a Madrid match but he refereed Chelsea earlier this season in their 2-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb.
