One surprise reason that gives Madrid edge over City and PSG in Bellingham race -- it's not about Champions League titles

The Jude Bellingham transfer saga has dominated transfer news in Europe for much of this season.

Real Madrid have maid landing the Dortmund midfielder their priority for the summer.

However, even with Liverpool pulling out of the race for the player, there are still other suitors for the English internationl, loaded with cash - Manchester City and PSG for instance.

And yet, according to the German outlet Bild, Los Blancos remain the favourites to sign Bellingham for one surprising reason.

The 19-year-old has reportedly made it clear that he does not want to join any sheikh or billion-dollar club, which surely favours Madrid.
