Who will replace Asensio next season? 3 options

Marco Asensio is reportedly leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has managed 20 goal contributions across all competitions this term. In some way, he was an important player for us this campaign, so he should be replaced properly.

Here are the options.

1. Federico Valverde

The Uruguayan often occupies the right-wing position at Real Madrid. Jude Bellingham's future arrival will mean there could be less demand in Fede as a central midfielder, so we could see him playing on the right even more often.

2. Rodrygo

The Brazilian has become a more important player for the Whites this season. He is surely one of the primary options for the right wing next term.

3. Brahim Diaz

Real Madrid reportedly consider keeping the Spaniard at the club next season and making him Marco Asensio's successor.

There are three possible issues with this: firstly, the 23-year-old apparently wants to stay at Milan; secondly, he is more of an attacking midfielder than a right winger; finally, he is not as prolific as Marco.

4. Some new player

The Whites can dip their toes in the transfer market to find a new back-up right winger.

Previously, there were talks about the club's interest in Moussa Diaby.

What option do you prefer and why?
