Real Madrid are now pursuing Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies, according to Marca's Jose Felix.
Bayern Munich are trying to extend Davies contract but the defender has turned down their offer. Although his contract expires in the summer of 2025.
During this season, the 22-year-old told German outlet Bild how he feels alone playing his football in Munich.
"I am alone. Neither my family nor my girlfriend are with me," Davies said.
Furthermore, Davies agent, Nedal Huoseh, recently told reporters that Bayern Munich are not in a good place right now.
"It is a chaotic moment at Bayern Munich. I am not sure what is happening. It seems that there is too much instability and uncertainty. Maybe it is better if we wait a while and we'll see how I walk to the club," Huoseh said.
Such comments support the notion that the player could leave Bayern Munich this summer. However, Real Madrid may have to pay a hefty fee to get him.
Real Madrid recently signed Fran Garcia to cover at left-back, but the club are hoping to sell Ferland Mendy which would leave them shorthanded in that position. Unless they sign someone like Davies.
