Kylian Mbappe will immediately become Real Madrid's highest-paid player if or when he joins Los Blancos in 2024, El Chiringuito says (h/t Diario AS).
Real Madrid are prepared to place Mbappe on a salary of €35 million net per season. His gross salary could reach €70m per year.
Mbappe's potential salary will force a monumental change in Real Madrid's strict wage structure, considering no player earns more than €11m at the club currently.
The French striker currently earns in excess of €60m per season at PSG plus a loyalty bonus that takes his overall yearly salary north of €100m.
Real Madrid will also have to pay a handsome sign-on bonus to Mbappe if he arrives next summer as a free agent.
