On Monday, Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo did what modern-day footballers hardly ever do — he rejected a penalty awarded to him after a tackle in the box.
It happened during Al Nassr's game against Persepolis in the AFC Champions League. Ronaldo latched onto the ball in the box before seemingly being hacked down by an opposing defender. The referee duly pointed to the spot indicating a penalty.
But the honest legend immediately got up to reject the referee's decision as he saw the challenge as soft and undeserving of such a capital punishment.

The referee eventually agreed with Ronaldo and overturned his earlier decision.

You won't catch any of Ronaldo's rivals doing this. Al Nassr were a man down in the game after a red card and eventually finished without scoring. The game ended 0-0.
