Is Jude Bellingham really good at penalties? Answered

If Carlo Ancelotti picks Jude Bellingham as his first-choice penalty-taker, the Englishman would have really big boots to fill. Obviously, Jude has been a goal-scoring machine since his first day but is he really good at spot kicks?

According to Transfermarkt, Jude has taken only two penalties before, both for Borussia Dortmund, both last season. That's not so good news but the good news is that he converted them.

Both goals were of real importance. In the German Cup, Bellingham scored the winner against Hannover and in the Bundesliga, he scored Dortmund's second goal against Borussia Monchengladbach, which was a huge morale boost for his side. Eventually, Dortmund won 5:2.

Even if Jude lacks experience, he has a good eye for goal and is mentally strong enough to resist opposition goalkeepers' mind games.

According to AS, Carlo Ancelotti is looking for a new man to take spot kicks after Real Madrid players have missed a few penalties. On Tuesday Luka Modric missed a penalty against Union Berlin, and earlier Rodrygo and Joselu failed to score against Celta Vigo and Osasuna respectively.
