Endrick: 'In football, you have to be cold'

“Since I was very little I have had to show that I am not afraid of anyone,” Endrick told Marca, as quoted by Managing Madrid.

“It all started when I was very little. I just wanted to play football. I was very clear about it and for that you can’t show fear towards anyone or anything and that’s what I did since I was very little.

“I’m cold, at least that’s what my sister and my mother say because of the decisions I make and how I speak. In football you have to be cold.”

The Brazilian is considered one of the brightest talents of his generation. This season, he scored 11 goals in 31 Serie A appearances for Palmeiras.

Endrick will join Madrid in the summer of 2024.
