Carlo Ancelotti names one thing he will never ask Luka Modric for – unlike Arda Guler

"If a young player like him [Guler] warms up and doesn't play, nothing happens. But 39-year-old [he's actually 38 – Tribuna.com] Modric, a legend with five Champions League trophies behind... I can't do it. He knows," Carlo Ancelotti has told the media.

After one of the recent games, Ancelotti made it clear he would never ask Luka Modric to warm up if the latter is not expected to play – out of respect for the player and his physical condition, of course.

Arda Guler experiences things like these quite often, though. On several occasions already, the Turkish wonderkid has been asked to get warmed up before getting dropped to the bench again.
