La Liga has transferred the "Bellingham-Greenwood case" to the Competition Committee as the outcome of the Real Madrid midfielder's alleged offensive remarks is awaited.
Jude Bellingham was reported to La Liga after he was accused of calling Mason Greenwood a “rapist” during a fixture between Madrid and Getafe.
La Liga consequently hired a lip-reading expert to determine what Bellingham had saif. The Competition Committee will now decide whether Bellingham should be sanctioned or not.
According to Arancha Mobile, the case process will be as follows:
• An investigating judge is appointed to collect the information.
• In a couple of weeks, he will propose a sanction or dismissal.
• Once the judge makes the decision, the club will have 10 business days to present allegations which will then be submitted to the competition committee to resolve the case.
