Achraf Hakimi is seriously considering returning to Real Madrid to play with Kylian Mbappe, Ramon Fuentes of Mundo Deportivo reports.
Unlike Mbappe, Hakimi will not arrive in Madrid in 2024 but has his sights set on the 2025 summer window when he would have a year left on his PSG contract.
Hakimi and Mbappe have formed a close friendship bond at PSG are considered best friends both on and off the pitch. That could be one reason making the Morroccan consider a return to Madrid. Another reason would be Hakimi's close ties with Los Blancos.
The 25-year-old was bred in Madrid and started his career 13 years ago in Real Madrid's Castilla Academy. Unfortunately, he failed to nail his place in the first team and was then sold to Inter in 2020. He would join PSG a year later.
Real Madrid are already looking to sign a full-back with Bayern's Alphonso Davies considered the likely option in the summer. However, Hakimi could also take the role with Dani Carvajal ageing and Lucas Vazquez unsure of his Real Madrid future.
