Arda Guler scored his first Real Madrid goal on Sunday, but no one seems to be talking about Dani Ceballos who delivered the brilliant assist.
For Guler to mark his special occasion thanks to a pass by Ceballos is something we couldn't have imagined.
Back in January when Guler made his first start for Real Madrid against Arandina, Ceballos was heavily criticized by fans for not allowing the teenager to take a close-range free-kick.
Movistar microphones had picked up what was said between both players in that moment.
Guler: "Let me take one, bro (the free-kick)."
Ceballos: "C'mon, give me the ball. Give it to me, Arda."
Ceballos eventually took the free-kick and missed the target.
However, the Spanish midfielder was unselfish in threading the ball for Guler's goal despite being hounded by three players.
All is well that ends well and it's happy days at Real Madrid once again.
Who knows, Guler could receive his next assist from Joselu.
