Keep, loan or sell? Here's a quick look at what Real Madrid planning for their loanees this coming summer.
Jesus Vallejo. Sell. The defender was a benchwarmer at Real Madrid before handing over his no. 5 shirt to Bellingham and heading to Granada. His performances there have not been brilliant which means his Real Madrid career is likely over.
Reinier. Sell. The Brazilian is not a bad player but he's just not Real Madrid level. Since arriving from Flamego in 2020 for €30m he's gone on loan four times. Now at Frosinone, Real must be planning to cut their losses and cash out.
Rafa Marin. Keep. The big Spanish defender is not doing badly at Deportivo Alaves. He plays regularly and is one reason why Alaves will escape relegation this season. Perhaps he could be given a lifeline at Real Madrid as a backup if Nacho leaves. One wonders if Marin would be playing regularly if he was at Barca. Take Pau Cubarsi as an example.
Possibility of buyback
Miguel Gutierrez. 60%. The left-back has hinted at the big possibility of returning to Real Madrid soon. Real Madrid have a buy-back clause on him with 50% right to the player. Thus, if Madrid fails to sign Alphonso Davies and Ferland Mendy leaves, Miguel would certainly be back at the Santiago Bernabeu wearing white.
Take Kubo. 5%. The Japanese international recently signed a long-term contract at Sociedad. His market value stands at €60m. According to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, Real Madrid have first refusal to the player. However, a comeback is unlikely as Real Madrid's attack is already looking stacked.
