UEFA have announced that Daniele Orsato will be the referee for the Champions League second leg between Real Madrid and Manchester City.
The thing is, Real Madrid's record with Orsato as referee is not a good one. Los Blancos have played eight Champions League games where he officiated and lost four of those.
Orsato has shown 18 yellow cards and one red to Real Madrid players in those eight games over the years.
However, the Italian referee recently officiated Real Madrid's 3-1 comeback win against Man City in the Champions League semi-final in 2022. Los Blancos went on to win the competition that year.
Real Madrid are set to travel to Manchester later today as they prepare for their big game. Los Blancos must win the match to advance to the semi-final after the first leg ended 3-3 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
