Guardiola: 'I'm not afraid of Real Madrid'

"I'm not afraid of Real Madrid, but we respect them a lot. I have always respected them. If they manage to beat us, tomorrow we will congratulate them," Pep Guardiola told a press conference.

Guardiola also confirmed that his team is refreshed after some injured players recovered, notably Kyle Walker.

"[Walker] trained well the last few days. Tomorrow he'll be there, but I don't know if he'll be a starter. He's a very important player for us. His physique imposes on the rivals. He wasn't at the Bernabéu and the players who they replaced, they did it very well," Guardiola said.

Guardiola also disagrees with Bernardo Silva that Real Madrid are better this season than last term.

"I don't agree with Bernardo, last year's Madrid was also very good with Benzema and Modric. When I say positive things about Madrid, people don't believe me, both when I was a footballer and now," the Man City boss added.

Real Madrid are already in England ahead of the big game on Wednesday.
