Manchester City forward Bernardo Silva has admitted they are facing a better Real Madrid side this year than the one they beat 4-0 last season.
“I see Real Madrid stronger this year. That’s my feeling after the match at the Bernabeu," Silva told COPE.
“This season is a different game, they have their [new] signings and so do we. We have a lot of confidence because we are playing at home and with a lot of respect because we are facing the King of the competition,” the City attacker added.
Bernardo was really respectful about Real Madrid in his interview and even added how much he idolizes Kroos and Modric.
"Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are definitely role models and inspirations for me personally. It's not one season, it's 15 years. After everything they achieved, they keep going,” Bernardo said.
Real Madrid are already in Manchester ahead of the big game on Wednesday. The first leg ended 3-3 which means anything can still happen in the second.
