Ancelotti: 'Never take Real Madrid for dead. Madrid never dies'

Real Madrid knocked Man City out of the Champions League and advanced to the semi-finals. The Whites were forced to play defensively for the large part of the second leg at the Etihad but won on penalties after drawing the tie 4-4.

“I am proud. Never leave Real Madrid for dead. Real Madrid never dies,” Carlo Ancelotti said after the game.

“I have not been this nervous since the comeback against Chelsea. How do I stay so calm? Sorry, I have no energy left.

“Pep Guardiola congratulated us and wished us luck, he is a gentleman, as always.”
