Kylian Mbappe has already played his first game for Real Madrid – explained

Kylian Mbappe has announced he's leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season as he's going to finally join Real Madrid as a free agent.

As a youngster, Kylian displayed his sympathy for the Whites multiple times – but do you know he had an experience of actually playing for the club?

Mbappe's first game for Real Madrid took place in December 2012 when Zinedine Zidane invited the then-13-year-old to the club's training facilities. The young Frenchman participated in an intra-squad friendly at the academy, playing the first half as a winger and the second one as a midfielder.

The one called 'Kylian' in the match report is him

"He was physically superior to everyone and technically, he also stood out. It was one of those situations in which there could be no doubts from the point of view of his football qualities," the Whites' former recruitment director Paco de Gracia noted years later.

"In spaces, he made a difference. He was skinny, tiny, even for his 14 years. We looked at each other when he changed the pace," youth coach Ruben de la Red said.

All the coaches were left impressed with the teenager, but Kylian apparently didn't join the club due to his family's 'high demands' and their desire to stay in France.

11 and a half years later, things are happening!
