Florentino Perez trolls Mayor of Madrid during La Liga title celebrations – he's Atletico fan

On Sunday, Real Madrid finally got around to celebrating their 36th La Liga title. But before the famous Cibeles fountain ritual, the squad, coaches, and Florentino Perez made a few pit stops.

Their first port of call was the Community Headquarters, followed by City Hall, where they met the city’s Mayor Jose Almeida – infamously an Atletico fan.

Lucas Vazquez even teased him about his football allegiance, asking, "Aren’t you a Madrid fan yet?”

Then, Florentino Perez handed the mayor a custom white jersey. Albeit reluctantly, he accepted the gift.

Perez went on to ask and try it on, but Almeida politely declined.

He might have secretly slipped on the Madrid shirt after the cameras stopped rolling, though. We'll keep an eye out!
