Kylian Mbappe played his final match at the Parc des Princes as a PSG player in their 3-1 loss to Toulouse on Sunday (May 12).
The Frenchman has already confirmed his impending exit from the club. But, he will not be announced as a new Real Madrid player in May.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Los Blancos have no plans of announcing Mbappe’s signing before the UEFA Champions League final.
The club is fully focused on winning their 15th Champions League title on June 1 by defeating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
It’ll only be after that game that Los Blancos start preparations on formally announcing the much-awaited arrival of the World Cup winner.
Mbappe is likely to be announced as a new Real Madrid player in the first week of June instead. He is likely to get the no.10 shirt and become the highest-paid player.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a prolific final season with PSG, having scored 44 goals and provided 10 assists with three more matches to play in this campaign.
