After scoring his 18th goal of the season in Real Madrid's 4-4 draw against Villarreal, Joselu sent a strong message to Madridistas ahead of the Champions League final.
“Let the fans trust and encourage us as before. They have been an important part throughout the season to get the results and without them, we would be nothing," Joselu said.
"We have seen it, especially in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals. That support from each one of them will reach us to be able to win the Champions League,” the Spaniard added.
Joselu scored the two goals that helped Real Madrid beat Bayern to qualify for the Wembley final. The striker now has five goals in the Champions League from two starts and 10 appearances.
It's incredible that Real Madrid only paid €500k to loan a player performing in this way when called upon.
