- According to The Athletic's James Pearce, Liverpool are now in advanced talks with Olympiakos about left-back Kostas Tsimikas as they fail to come to an agreement with Norwich over Jamal Lewis.
- Earlier, sources in Greece claimed that the Reds were at least £5m short of Olympiakos' valuation of the 24-year-old.
- Pearce states that at the moment, Liverpool's offer is €13m (around £12m).
- As for Lewis, it's understood that Norwich are holding out for twice as much as the £10m offered by the Merseyside club.
- Tsimikas might be a good back-up option for Andrew Robertson, as argued by Pearce in one of his articles.
- Earlier, the Greece international has also been linked with other Premier League sides, including Chelsea and Leicester.
