Superman returns. 43-year-old Gianluigi Buffon pulls off a miracle save for Parma

Gianluigi Buffon is already impressing in his return to childhood club Parma and pulled off an amazing save during their pre-season friendly against Sassuolo.

During the game, Sassuolo looked guaranteed to score a goal when a perfect pass was played to a forward inside the box.

However, Buffon produced incredible reflexes to save that shot from yards out and even held onto the ball from the rebound.

The Sassuolo players were stunned to see the 43-year-old goalkeeper save that, while the Parma goalkeeper was quick to chug his teammates forward after the incident.

Even though Parma lost the game 0-3, Buffon’s sharp save proved just how good he still is.

The Italian goalkeeper will begin the Serie B season with his club on August 21 when they face Frosinone.
