According to Spanish media outlet Diario Sport, Thierry Henry is one of the possible options to replace Ernesto Valverde if the latter leaves Camp Nou at the end of the season.
The Frenchman is seen as a good pick for several reasons. First of all, the legendary striker played for three seasons in Catalonia and knows well what are the requirements of the club in regards to playing style.
Besides, he has shared the dressing room with three out of four Barcelona's captains Leo Messi, Sergio Busquets and Gerard Pique. This, in addition to the fact that Blaugrana already have five Frenchmen at the club, will help him maintain a positive atmosphere in the locker room.

Henry is also a close friend to Eric Abidal, the club's current sporting director.
Currently, the ex-Gunner is a manager of Montreal Impact. He joined the MLS club back in November but is yet to play his first match as the head coach as the league is set to start only in February 2020.
As for Ernesto Valverde, the current boss has a contract at Camp Nou until June 2020, although there is an option to extend his stay for one more season. Both Barca and Valverde can trigger the clause but no answer is expected to arrive at least until April.
For now, Barca prefer not to speak or think about Ernesto's future, Diario Sport say.
