Turkish source Fotomac claim that the Gunners are leading the race for Juventus' Merih Demiral. According to the report, AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Schalke are all interested in the defender but the Gunners are ahead of their competition.
Earlier, the Sun also insisted that Arsenal are preparing to launch a £42.5million bid for the player.
However, these reports contradict Calciomercato's insight about Juve's plans to make Demiral stay. While it was expected that Merih Demiral could leave the Bianconeri despite joining them in the summer, Calciomercato said that Juventus are willing to offload Daniele Rugani instead.
And don't forget that the rumour has it that Adrien Rabiot, also a Juventus player, is believed to be on the Gunners' wish list.
