Arsenal-linked Demiral suffers ACL injury

Juventus centre-back Merih Demiral, who has been linked with Arsenal recently, is out for the season after suffering an ACL injury in their game against Roma.

"The diagnostic tests revealed injury to the anterior cruciate ligament along with associated injury to the meniscus," Juventus have officially confirmed.

The 21-year-old centre-back is now set to spend around 7 months on the sidelines meaning he'll also miss the Euro 2020.

Juventus paid £15.5m for Demiral in the summer. Following his slow start at the Old Lady, Merih enjoyed a sustained run in the starting XI lately.
