Sun: Arsenal reportedly ready to offload Ozil in January

According to not-really-reliable (if reliable at all) newspaper Sun, Arsenal are ready to offload their highest paid star Mesut Ozil in January. No.10 has £350,000-a-week a salary and the club could free up huge money if they transfer the German. The source claim Arsenal are willing to get just £25m for their star, who has struggled under Unai Emery.

Ozil’s entourage, including his brother Mutlu, will allegedly fly to Milan to hold talks with Inter, who are said to be interested in the playmaker. The Sun add, that Juventus could also try to land Ozil, but the January deal is unlikely.

They also claim that Unai Emery is unhappy with player's attitude and injuries that kept him out of action for the last games. The Sun released a video and pictures of the party, the Gunners had held in August. Ozil was one the Arsenal players caught on camera.

Former Gunners midfielder Ray Parlour urged the club to keep Ramsey and sell Ozil: "My personal decision would be that I'd rather keep Ramsey than Ozil.

"I think Aaron brings a little bit more to the team. Mesut Ozil is a great player, I'm not doubting that, but you can leave him out. We didn't miss him yesterday, whereas I thought Ramsey made an impact in the second half. Aaron has been there a long time, he's been there for ten years, so you've got to look that as well.

"Some players would sulk and say, I'm leaving at the end of the season, so it doesn't really matter, but his attitude has been spot on. He knows he's leaving at the end of the season, but he was brilliant in mid-week in the Europa League. I would rather have Aaron Ramsey."

Unai Emery: "I demand the same from Ozil as any other player"
