Arsenal and Roma reportedly in talks over Henrikh Mkhitaryan permanent transfer as Gunners hope to raise cash ahead of transfer window

According to the Mirror, Arsenal want to take advantage of Roma's interest in Henrikh Mkhitaryan and offload the Armenian permanently.

The Gunners are desperate to raise some cash ahead of the transfer window in view of the coronavirus crisis. The report says Arsenal hope to get £10m but Roma’s valuation falls short even of that estimation.

While the north Londoners prefer a cash deal, the Giallorossi see it as a money-plus-player agreement. The report does not indicate who could be offered from Roma's side to go the other way.

It is said that Arsenal will only offload the Armenian if it is right in difficult circumstances as he's still regarded as a good player.

By the way, according to Transfermarkt, Miki's current transfer value stands at £18m today.

Even though the playmaker's season has been marred with injuries, he's convinced manager Paolo Fonseca that the Giallorossi need him in the squad next season.

The on-loan Gunners has scored 6 goals and bagged 3 assists in 13 Serie A outings.
