According to French outlet La Voix du Nord, quite a reliable source when it comes to Lille-related news, Gabriel Magalhaes has agreed to join Arsenal.
The source says he held talks with the Gunners earlier this week and clearly liked what he heard from the club's representatives and now wants to join Arsenal 'as quickly as possible'.
However, Manchester United, who are also chasing the Brazilian along with Everton and Napoli, 'haven't had their final say', the report states.
Lille are asking for €30m (£27m) to part ways with their star man.
The report adds that the situation with Magalhaes will become clearer in the coming days.
The centre-back started 23 Ligue 1 games in the past season out of 24 he featured in. Gabriel helped his side secure 12 clean sheets.
