Jurgen Klopp: 'Sorry, Mikel. You have to come to Liverpool twice, It’s not so bad'

Liverpool have torn Lincoln City apart 7-2 and progressed to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup to meet Arsenal.

"Thank God we have two home games," Jurgen Klopp laughed with Sky Sports after the match. "Sorry, Mikel. You have to come to Liverpool twice, It’s not so bad.

"It will be tough. I’m not sure which cup competition we played Arsenal last year but that was a real rollercoaster as well. 5-5, a penalty shootout.

"I saw the Arsenal game against Leicester, they have a proper line-up, they want to win the competition.

"We want to win the competition so you have to come through all the rounds. The next one is a tough one."

First, the Gunners are set to play again Klopp's on Monday in the Premier League. And then on Thursay we face them in the Carabao Cup.

We've beat them twice on the two latest occasions (in the Community Shield it was a shootout victory), but that's our only 2 wins in the 10 last meetings as we lost 6 of those.
