Arsenal's medical team has delivered an update on players' fitness ahead of the Monday Premier League matchday 3 clash against Liverpool.
Short-term absences
Kieran Tierney. Available for the Monday game after suffering a groin issue before the West Ham match.
Cedric Soares. Will miss the Anfield showdown on Monday after sustaining a calf injury. Aiming to return to full training next week.
Sokratis. Calf injury, should return to training in the coming days.
Emile Smith Rowe. On his way to recover from a shoulder injury. Expected back at full training next week.
Long-term absences
Pablo Mari. Ligament sprain. The medical team expects him to be back in contention in two weeks.
Shkodran Mustafi. Continues rehabilitation after a right hamstring injury. Expected to return to availability in October.
Calum Chambers. Participates in light training sessions with the rest of the squad. Has started working with the ball. Aims to return to full training in October.
Gabriel Martinelli. Will remain sidelined until the end of the year. Undergoes a recovery programme at London Colney.
