Senior Estonia international & 2 more young Gunners who deserve EL chance after Balogun debut

Estonia arguably has the highest percentage of Arsenal goalkeepers in the world outside the UK. Simply because the Gunners have had 2 shot-stoppers from the small Baltic nation which has a population of 1.3 million people.

Mart Poom, who played two games for the Gunners between 2005 and 2007, was the first Estonian goalie in north London, and the 18-year-old Karl Hein certainly aspires to fare better than his compatriot.

Arsenal beat Man United and Juventus for his signature back in 2019, and Karl Hein has become a started for the Academy side. His performances led to him receiving an Estonia call-up and getting his debut for the senior team in September. Karl has already earned 4 caps for his country.

So after trying out Alex Runarsson, why not give Karl Hein his debut too?

The creative midfielder has already made his debut for the first-team, albeit not in a competitive setting. Cottrell played—and impressed—for the Gunners in the pre-season friendly against MK Dons.

Ben is considered one of the best talents in the current Academy crop. He has recently turned 19, and a loan move to a League One or a Championship side looks like the best option for him at this stage of his development.

However, before that it would make perfect sense to try him out in a no-pressure setting, and one of autumn's Europa League games could provide a perfect opportunity to give Cottrell his competitive Arsenal debut.

An all-round midfielder who draws inspiration from Patrick Vieira and Sergio Busquets, Miguel is one of the better known Arsenal youngsters. He played against MK Dons alongside Cottrell and also featured in a friendly against QPR.

Azeez is considered a standout talent in his age group. His best qualities are tenacity, accurate passing and work rate, and he has trained with the first team a few times already.

And while there is a lot of competition in the midfield at Arsenal these days, perhaps Miguel can get a taste of senior football with a second-half appearance at some point in the group stage.
