Team news update
Amazingly, Arsenal appear to have a full squad to choose from. Arteta confirmed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Kieran Tierney are back in contention - there were fears Tierney could miss the rest of the season.
David Luiz is also back from the cold and will provide Arteta with another option at centre-back. We can only hope he avoids making any high-profile errors in a game as pivotal as this one.
Option 1: go with the best XI
By that we mean the one Arteta tends to pick with all options available. That would mean returns for Luiz, Tierney and Aubameyang - as well as Martin Odegaard.
However, we hope Arteta looks more closely at the goalkeeper and right-back positions - and avoids fielding Bernd Leno and Hector Bellerin there.
Starting XI: Ryan, Chambers, Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Aubameyang
Option 2: use the Slavia demolition XI
Probably Arsenal's best performance this season - if not the best under Mikel Arteta overall - happened just several weeks ago as the Gunners swept Slavia aside 4-0.
The only change we can see Arteta making to it is replacing Dani Ceballos with Granit Xhaka in midfield - as we now have Tierney available to play at left-back and no longer need the Swiss there.
This decision would include some big calls too: leaving Aubameyang and Odegaard benched and putting the trust in Leno after his horrible Everton blunder.
