Daniel Ek releases statement on Arsenal bid, got rejected by Kroenke

Daniel Ek has confirmed reports about making a bid for 

 while squashing rumours about not making one.

"Inaccurate reports emerged today stating I have not made a bid for Arsenal Football Club. I think it is important to correct the record," Ek posted on Twitter.

an offer was made to both Josh Kroenke and their bankers

 that included fan ownership, representation at the board and a golden share for the supporters.

They replied that they don't need the money

. I respect their decision but remain interested and available should that situation ever change."

Ek has been heavily linked with buying Arsenal with a report emerging on Sky Sports that 

he was set to make a major offer for the club

Ek's intention to take over Arsenal ownership is supported by the likes of Arsene Wenger and Thierry Henry.

U can’t make a bid like tht to get someone out try getting a partner who can give 1.5 billion and u with ur 1.5 billion save tht extra 300 million for the war chest to buy players.
