Ballon d'Or power rankings: Lewandowski jumps over Messi to reclaim top spot

Lionel Messi has moved to the second place ofTribuna.com's Ballon d'Or power rankings as Robert Lewandowski is back at the top.

Barcelona crashed out of the title race after a 3-3 draw at Levante and a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Celta Vigo over the past seven days.

Even though the Argentine found the back of the net in both games, Leo's strikes weren't enough to keep Barca alive.

Lewandowski, meanwhile, scored his 40th league goal of the season in Bayern Munich's 2-2 draw with Freiburg on Saturday, equaling Gerd Muller's 1971/72 Bundesliga record.

The Bavarians claimed their ninth consecutive Bundesliga title earlier this month.
