According to The Sun, which is not the most credible source in the media world, Arsenal and Aston Villa both launched a £30m to Norwich for Emiliano Buendia.
The source says those bids were rejected immediately by the Canaries who are looking to raise around £40m for the 24-year-old.
The report adds that Norwich will have to share 20 per cent of the transfer fee with Getafe who inserted a sell-on clause in the Argentine's transfer deal back in 2018.
The newly-minted Premier League side spent just £1.5m 3 years ago to lure away the attacking midfielder from Spain.
Buendia was voted the Championship player of the season, helping his side to earn promotion with a contribution of 15 goals and 16 assists.
He's believed to be a top target for Arsenal in the summer.
