'I have heard': Wolves boss Bruno Lage weighs in on Pedro Neto to Arsenal rumours

"I have heard that [Pedro Neto's links to Arsenal] but nothing has come to us," explained Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Bruno Lage during a press conference.

"It’s normal now, with the good players that we have. Teams are looking for good players in the same way we are looking for [Goncalo] Guedes, Matheus [Nunes], [Nathan] Collins.

"No one told me anything about any proposal [for Neto]."

His words appear to suggest that Arsenal are yet to lodge an official bid for the 22-year-old attacker.

With Nicolas Pepe in talks to leave the Gunners, The Athletic has claimed that Arsenal are set to pursue Pedro as an alternative.

If true, Arsenal need to speed up and submit an official bid before the window shuts on August 31.
