Three Arsenal Women stars get WSL awards
Arsenal Women have seen three of their players get included in the highly prestigious 2021/22 PFA Women Super League Team of the Year.
Leah Williamson, Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema were all officially presented with their awards on Tuesday at the club's training ground.
Tielemans doesn't regret staying at Leicester
Youri Tielemans has insisted that he does not regret not making a move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window with a year left on his contract.
He said: "My family is very happy and that's important. I didn't leave Leicester City in the summer because the project had to be the right one. Just because things are getting worse now at Leicester doesn't mean I should regret staying."
Nwaneri's Instagram boost
Ethan Nwaneri's name was written in the history books on Sunday with the 15-year-old becoming the youngest-ever player in the history of the Premier League.
In just a few days after the Brentford game, the attacking midfielder has been verified at Instagram and his follower count grew 7,000 from to over 150,000.
Saka breaks Anelka's record
Bukayo Saka has overtaken Nicolas Anelka to rank second for the most Premier League contributions by a player aged 21 or younger in Arsenal's history.
With his two assists in the 3–0 win away at Brentford on Sunday, Saka has now been directly involved in 36 Premier League goals for the Gunners.
