Arsenal have opened discussions with Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jesper Lindstrom over a possible move in January, claims German outlet BIld.

The Gunners have contacted his representatives to discuss a transfer, but only initial talks have taken place so far.

The 22-year-old can play in either flank and as an attacking midfielder, matching the criteria of the attacking player Arsenal are reportedly looking for.

Lindstrom scored 5 goals and registered 9 assists in 39 appearances last season, including 4 assists in Frankfurt’s Europa League winning campaign.

The Gunners are still looking for a new attacking player after missing out on Pedro Neto’s signing in the summer.
