Arteta 'wants' Arsenal to sign Juventus duo
Mikel Arteta has requested Arsenal to sign Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic and midfielder Fabio Miretti next years, as per TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Gunners are reportedly ready to splash over £100m on the duo, even though Juve aren't interested in selling.
Arsenal 'reached verbal agreement' with Fede Valverde
As per Spanish outlet AS, Arsenal had actually reached a verbal agreement to sign Fede Valverde when was still at Uruguayan club Penarol.
He had been scouted by Arsene Wenger's right-hand man Francis Cagigao since 2014, but Valverde ultimately agreed to join Real Madrid in 2016 after finding them as 'dazzling'.
Partey to return for 'assessment' on knee injury
Thomas Partey is set to return to London for further assessment on his injury at Arsenal, a statement from Ghana Football Association has confirmed.
The press release further adds that Partey picked up a suspected knee injury minutes before he was supposed to start for the national side.
Balogun shares message for Nwaneri
Folarin Balogun, currently on loan at Stade de Reims, said of Ethan Nwaneri: "When I was sorting out my loan towards the end of pre-season I noticed he was training with us a few times. I spoke to the 18s manager, and he told me that [Nwaneri’s] a really good player and he said that he’s got a bright future.
"So I definitely had an eye out for him, and then it was just really good to see him make his debut. There have been a lot of players in the past which have kicked on really early. I’m sure Arsenal have got a plan for him, I’m sure if he just keeps his head down and works hard that he’ll see through that plan."
