Arsenal, meanwhile, have struggled for goals in the last five tilts. Mikel Arteta's side have managed just four efforts in this period.
To put in context, Pepe is almost scoring as many goals as his parent club which parades the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
Pepe returned to the Ligue 1 after falling down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta. He, however, seems to have reignited his career in familiar territory.
The 27-year-old opened his goal account for Nice after five games against Slovacko in Europe. He then struck in the ties with Troyes and Nantes before another goal in the Europa.
Arsenal return to action on Sunday against Nottingham Forest while Pepe's Nice face Lorient.
