Arsenal have 'great opportunity' to sign Youri Tielemans amid contract expiry (reliability: 5 stars)

Arsenal are in a solid position to finally sign Youri Tielemans in 2023, reports tier-one journalist Fabrizio Romano.

In his column for Caught Offside, Romano wrote: "I think Youri Tielemans coming towards the end of his contract is a great opportunity on the market for Arsenal and any other club!

"They decided not to pay for him this summer, but let’s see if their plans change if or when he becomes a free agent."

The Gunners have been linked with the Leicester City man for over a year now but refused to meet the club's asking price over the summer.

With Tielemans' deal expiring next summer, Arsenal are in an advantageous position to bring him in as a free agent.
