Bukayo Saka was named the Man of Match in England's 6-2 victory over Iran in Qatar. The Arsenal forward scored two goals in the game.
According to Opta, Saka (21 years, 77 days) is the youngest player to score 2+ goals in his first World Cup game since Franz Beckenbauer in 1966 (20 years, 304 days).

Granit Xhaka and other captains won't wear the One Love armband at the World Cup in Qatar. They wanted to do so to promote LGBTQ+ rights but Qatar have several laws which could get them in trouble.
