Arsenal fans have come all out for Emiliano Martinez after he trolled the club following Argentina's World Cup triumph.
"I was on the bench for a decade at Arsenal, when i was ready they said you are not number 1. Today I am a World Cup Champion," he said after the penalty victory over France.
In reaction to a story on Tribuna, some faithful told him to focus on his current team and leave Arsenal alone.
Joseph Adejuwon: "Why is he always tying arsenal to whatever happens to him, if he was good enough to start, would he have been on the bench that long... congratulations to him, he should celebrate his win and move on away from Arsenal".
Steven Woods: "Aston Villa No 1, do I need to say more. Was routing for him especially considering who the other goalie was."
Barry Chambers: "think he is still hurt leaving Arsenal, inside him I wished he had not left, but that’s that and truly he should move on, enjoy the victory and nothing more".
Toba: "Someone should please tell me If Arsenal plays or played in the World Cup???? He should be grateful he has a club trophy already with Arsenal that eventually gave him a chance! "

Martinez was awarded the Golden Gloove as the tournament's best goalkeeper.
