Some Arsenal fans believe Wilfried Zaha is the ideal alternative to Mykhailo Mudryk following his move to Chelsea.
Zaha has just six months left on his current Crystal Palace deal, meaning he won't cost the Gunners a fortune and will be available for free in the summer.
Reacting to a thread on Reddit, Gooners urged the club to take advantage.
Ramrram: "Zaha would be perfect. Plays all three up there, he's a Gooner, PL proven and running down his contract... Get Leao or something in the Summer with that insane Mudryk money. But short term nothing makes more sense than Zaha, at least to me."
South-Pound4510: "Preaching to the choir mate, I’ve been zaha’s lawyer for years. Couldn’t agree more. This window could be locked up very quickly (and cheaply) by getting zaha+tielemans and calling it a day. Realistically, we aren’t bringing in anyone to change our strongest lineup, we just need depth and rotation."
Chinnock: "Zaha would be great but he would be nowhere near cheap".
Samuraiballer: "20-25m would probably get them to talk, for 10m they'd rather have him till he runs out of contract. They need him as he is their talisman and we need him for the title push so it's going to be difficult."
FonziGG: "I have a feeling he might want to be a part of a team challenging for the title though. Really depends on what’s important to him, specifically."
After being linked with Arsenal, Mudryk joined Chelsea for around €100m. The Gunners could still get an attacker to cover for injured Gabriel Jesus and Reiss Nelson.
Zaha has scored six goals and assisted two others in the Premier League this season.
