Arsenal handed Partey boost, return date revealed

The Sun reports that Thomas Partey's injury may not be as bad as feared. It said the results from the scans have been reassuring, and the midfielder could even be back for next weekend's Premier League trip to Everton.

Ghanaian journalist Owuraku Ampofo added: "Thomas Partey show his injury is not a severe one. The club expect him to be fit in time to face Everton next weekend."

Partey was withdrawn at half time in the FA Cup defeat at Man City. There were fears that he may be out for a long time, a situation that may have the bid for Brighton's Moises Caicedo.

Partey has started 16 Premier League games this season, scoring twice.
