David Ornstein reveals how much Arsenal must pay for Declan Rice summer signing (reliability: 5 stars)

 in the summer, claims The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

He claims that the Gunners could get a deal done for around £75m-£85m in the summer.

Ornstein told The Athletic’s Football Podcast: “The word that I am hearing from the industry is that £75/80/85m is a more realistic figure for Declan Rice this summer.”

Rice is a quality player who is yet to reach his prime. Arteta would make him even better so 75/80 million is not unreasonable but I suspect United or Chelsea would pay 100 million just to stop us from getting him. They know we have a great team and will spend big to stop us getting any more quality players!
